Operating Plan (To be put below the image): Lesico Cleantech operates as a technology cluster, providing a singular framework for the acquisition, development, and commercialization of a variety of ZLD technologies. Currently, there are two technologies in the cluster, and Lesico Cleantech intends to fill out its portfolio with up to five technologies in total. By developing the ZLD technologies in a cluster, Lesico Cleantech is able to leverage its specialized management in a focused and efficient manner. A description of Lesico Cleantech's operations is below, as well as a diagram of the process (see Diagram II).
Identifying New Technologies
Lesico Cleantech utilizes the relationships it has with leading water research organizations worldwide for an on-going stream of high quality deal flow. Targeted technologies undergo rigorous due diligence in order to determine whether they qualify for accelerated development within the Lesico Cleantech framework. The testing also includes a comprehensive technological and financial evaluation.
Sourcing funding
For each R&D program, Lesico Cleantech will apply for funding from public grants and subsidies.
Developing Technologies
Technologies that pass into this stage undergo development by Lesico Cleantech's team of ZLD specialists. Prototypes are tested at beta-sites of appropriate partners to ensure that the technologies are effective and robust.
Commercializing Technologies
The commercialization of Lesico Cleantech's cluster technologies occurs in parallel to product development, which is critical in order to ensure that the products that are being developed will have optimal relevance to the market. The market will be assessed and a strategy developed to commercialize the technology, leveraging the relationships of Lesico Cleantech and its partners. |
