The group was founded by Mr. Shlomo Leshman who immigrated to Israel in 1947. An entrepreneur by nature he settled his family in the new country, learned the language and became one of the leading contractors involved in building the infrastructure of the immerging state of Israel. S.Leshman Ltd was founded in 1965 to act as a civil engineering company later incorporated into Lesico Ltd., which became the Group's holding company in 1969. Throughout his active life Mr. Leshman participated in the country's development, conducted some of the most challenging projects and was respected by clients, colleagues and the industry as a whole. Mr. Leshman died in 2002. His legacy and vision live on at Lesico. |
